Shipped work, and what's being considered next. Most of this started as an email from someone using the app.

So a Stream Deck (or the + model's rotary knobs) can switch scenes, go live, and control mic gain. Suggested by a user, thanks Mehul. Two paths on the table, a local HTTP/OSC endpoint you could wire up yourself in Companion, or a proper published Companion module with named actions and live feedback.
Right now the polished composite only goes out over RTMPS. Expose it as a virtual webcam and the same stage look works in Zoom, Meet, Teams, Riverside, any app with a camera picker. It turns Stage Studio into an always-on better camera for everyday calls, not just a tool for going live.
Apple's on-device person segmentation can lift you out of your room and place you right on the stage background, no green screen needed. The person standing in the scene, not floating in a rectangle.
Play an intro or outro clip, roll some b-roll, or drop in a lower-third animation, instead of only live sources. A clean start and finish for a show.
Pull comments from YouTube or LinkedIn and put the ones you choose on screen as overlays. A simple way to bring the audience into the stream.
A script that scrolls over your camera, so you can look down the lens and still stay on message. Small to build, and solo creators love it.
A portrait canvas for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Streaming keeps shifting vertical, and few Mac tools do it well yet.
Now that recording saves the clean tracks and the composite, the next steps are separate audio tracks, pause and resume, a choice of format and folder, and one-tap clips for social.
Bring a co-host or interviewee into the show. This is the big one. It means WebRTC and a bit of server infrastructure, so it is a deliberate bet rather than a quick add. Tell us if you want it.
